Foreshadow

Obscur AW15 Exclusive lensed by Marco Giuliano and styled by Anca Macavei.

Dreams are better dreamt in darkness, float out from your hollows to feel the stillness of the Sun. Open the highway, it’s the beginning. The whole reveals itself in pieces, consciousness comes in degrees. All your omens. And so all your fears. The still rain of reality, it’s light descending from the depths. Learn how to feel more than you know.

Foreshadow / Obscur AW15 Exclusive

The idea of transmitting, presenting an indication of something to come, was the central theme articulated in the OBSCUR Autumn Winter collection of 2015. Working in a way that expands the emphasis placed on technique, the garment itself acts as a foundation in which new methods are capable of being visualised. Welded seams subtract the need for detectable lines. Technologically advanced textiles are executed in voluminous forms, while being juxtaposed by alternative materials. Details are revealed through there functionality. Zippers are placed solely on the basis for their service, to perform a task that allows for a discourse to open between user and garment. Various parts are able to be shifted, extended, and even be deleted within a single piece of attire. Therefore the element of choice is introduced to the wearer, and idea that one is able to determine the way in which each piece should be carried, a notion that has not yet been explored by many. Each individual base acts as a free form in which solidity is the end result.
