Afterlife at Privilege

A night in Ibiza with Nina Kravitz and Tale of Us.

We attended one of the top parties of the White Island for an intense summer night in the company of Tale of us and Nina Kraviz’s deep vibes. Afterlife at Privilege, Ibiza.

An ethereal musical odyssey through the realm of consciousness with mesmerising soundscapes and lush rhythms designed to abandon completely all your senses. A rebellion from convention into a dimension where music guides the resurgence through enigmatic lights and visuals. Feeding the White Isle’s appetite for a darker and a genuinely more raw techno, this summer marks the second season of weekly Thursday appointments taken over by Italian-raised, Berlin-based duo Tale of Us, this year at the World’s largest club, Privilege in Ibiza. For 14 weeks, running from June 29th through September 28th, it all takes place in two rooms: the Terrace Vista room, which hosts Tale Of Us plus some of their guests, and the Chamber, a “new home for darker and more experimental sounds.” Complimented by the Vista Club and Vista Blue, various gardens and chill out areas and last but not least by the the iconic dome, it makes for a thrilling clubbing experiences with one of the most unforgettable sunrises.

24th of August started becoming a memorable evening on the sound of the Bulgarian experimentalist KiNK who chose the dark side of techno for his live set. And there was something so so special about Tale of Us who took us to some otherworldly dimensions with their modern ethereal and atmospheric techno set. In the Chamber when Monoloc dropped Glanz Des Mondes (Ø [Phase] Remix) it created a spherical ambience of hypnotic sounds, the perfect setting to let yourself go and experience your present existence as if was nothing but a dream. The emotional state became even more powerful when siberian born Nina Kraviz teleported the crowd into high heavens with an unique sound, full of tension, a set of aural pleasure, dreamy and magical and equally dark as dance-worthy. We dreamt with our eyes open guided by a headfirst falling silhouette into void space. We felt the energy while searching for eternity and became one of those who saw the dawn before the rest of the world.

With their immense Afterlife concept Tale Of Us will still wonder you this season as they will be accompanied behind the decks by some other truly incredible names in the following weeks: Ame, Dixon, Maceo Plex, SHDW & Obscure Shape, Ryan Elliot. There is also the massive closing party awaiting on the 28th of September: Solomun, Recondite, Mind Against, Nina Kraviz, Rødhåd, Konstantin, Alex.Do, Vaal, Denis Horvat will surely spellbind you in the journey towards the deepest rooms of your own self. What a magic will Privilege posses then, descend into the Afterlife and contemplate how music should be truly experienced. Eternal music bliss guaranteed.
