Looking deep into the heaven that is under our feet. A journey of eternal innovation: HUI Autumn/Winter '21 digital campaign shot by Marco Giuliano and styled by Anca Macavei.
A childhood spent riding horses in the South of England lands in downtown New York.
On September 15, for FW26, Ocean Savage takes the world of the British Pony Club and moves it somewhere it was never meant to be: Bowery Showroom during New York Fashion Week. Riding clothes, competition ties, leather and tailoring meet oversized sportswear, wide trousers and hooded silhouettes. The brand’s double stripe runs through it all.
“PONY CLUB” marks OCEAN SAVAGE’s third collection and draws directly from Savage’s childhood in the South of England. Savage grew up attending Cowdray Hunt Pony Club, returning every summer between the ages of seven and thirteen. She spent three days riding and learning in groups alongside the same community, something she counted down to each year. Horses were part of the picture, but so were the uniforms, the rituals and the same faces appearing every year. That memory sits underneath the collection. It gives PONY CLUB its specificity. At thirteen, around the same time that chapter of her childhood came to an end, Savage began sewing.
Rather than treating equestrianism as an aesthetic discovered through fashion, FW26 comes from a world Savage experienced firsthand. Pony Club uniforms, the shared polo shirts, competition ties and practical riding clothes, sit alongside memories of horses, tack, routine and, most importantly, belonging.

The result is less countryside uniform and more horse-meets-street: British equestrian codes collide with oversized sportswear, wide trousers, leather, hooded silhouettes and tailoring. The brand’s signature double stripe runs throughout the collection, appearing across tailored jackets, trousers and sportswear.
The physical environment extended the collection beyond the clothes. Inside the showroom, black horse sculptures stood throughout the white space beside saddles, bridles and riding equipment, while OCEAN SAVAGE’s double stripe travelled across the floor. Mannequins, clothing rails and walls of collection imagery were joined by layers of PONY CLUB posters that covered floors, walls and columns, allowing the clean showroom to gradually take on the feeling of a temporary clubhouse.
During the day, guests were invited to preview the unreleased FW26 “PONY CLUB” collection and shop select pieces from OCEAN SAVAGE’s existing offering. GNGR Labs served ginger shots throughout the daytime showroom. By night, the space became the PONY CLUB afterparty, with sets by SHEKDASH, DIABLO and AMLINSKY. Tequila Don Ramón supported the bar throughout the night. Notable guests included Angela Nikolau and Vanya Beerkus, Beenslackin, Israel Yanir, Killfalou, Trentxmadison, Kelply, and others.
The most telling detail was the membership lanyard handed to guests at the door. Fitted with a key-fob-style NFC tag, it connected them directly to OCEAN SAVAGE’s website and unlocked a hidden member discount. A custom 3D-printed OCEAN SAVAGE logo element completed the membership piece, giving guests something to take away from the night.

“Pony Club was such a specific part of growing up British for me. It wasn’t just about horses, it was the people you saw every year, the rituals and feeling like you belonged to something. With this collection, I didn’t want to just take equestrian references and put them onto clothes. I wanted to bring Pony Club to New York and let people experience our version of it. Seeing everyone leave with their membership, they were actually becoming part of the brand.”
The event signals a wider direction for OCEAN SAVAGE as it moves beyond seasonal presentations and builds a community around the label both online and in person. Select pieces remain available to shop, with the full FW26 “PONY CLUB” collection being released this week. Following the September event, OCEAN SAVAGE plans to continue developing community-led events and physical experiences around future collections.
Founded in New York in 2024, OCEAN SAVAGE sits between British tailoring, personal history, sportswear and the city that became Savage’s home. The independent luxury fashion label brings British tailoring and personal heritage into conversation with contemporary sportswear and New York culture. Since its launch, the brand has presented two New York Fashion Week runway shows and has appeared across editorial and cultural platforms including i-D, V Magazine and Tatler, with pieces worn by Kendrick Lamar, Tinashe, Khalid and others. PONY CLUB feels like the point where those worlds stop being references and start becoming a language of their own. The horse is only the entry point, while the real subject is the club: who belongs, who gets the symbols, and what happens when an inherited code is taken somewhere else.
