A fashion event turned into an initiation. You came in as a guest and left carrying proof that you belonged.
That idea runs deeper than the collection. The Pony Club was built around rules, uniforms and recognition. Savage takes those old codes and gives them a new address. British heritage gets pulled apart and worn differently. The uniform survives, but the institution around it changes.
For Savage, that element was central to what PONY CLUB represented. The collection began with a childhood memory of repeatedly returning to the same place and the same people; the event became an opportunity to recreate that sense of belonging around the brand.
“Pony Club was such a specific part of growing up British for me. It wasn’t just about horses, it was the people you saw every year, the rituals and feeling like you belonged to something. With this collection, I didn’t want to just take equestrian references and put them onto clothes. I wanted to bring Pony Club to New York and let people experience our version of it. Seeing everyone leave with their membership, they were actually becoming part of the brand.”

The event signals a wider direction for OCEAN SAVAGE as it moves beyond seasonal presentations and builds a community around the label both online and in person. Select pieces remain available to shop, with the full FW26 “PONY CLUB” collection being released this week. Following the September event, OCEAN SAVAGE plans to continue developing community-led events and physical experiences around future collections.
Founded in New York in 2024, OCEAN SAVAGE sits between British tailoring, personal history, sportswear and the city that became Savage’s home. The independent luxury fashion label brings British tailoring and personal heritage into conversation with contemporary sportswear and New York culture. Since its launch, the brand has presented two New York Fashion Week runway shows and has appeared across editorial and cultural platforms including i-D, V Magazine and Tatler, with pieces worn by Kendrick Lamar, Tinashe, Khalid and others.
PONY CLUB feels like the point where those worlds stop being references and start becoming a language of their own. The horse is only the entry point. The real subject is the club: who belongs, who gets the symbols, and what happens when an inherited code is taken somewhere else.
