Bianca describes itself as a love letter to heritage, entirely designed and crafted in Italy. How does that heritage manifest?

The heritage lies in every step of the production process – from the fabric mills to the hardware workshops and the ateliers where each piece is carefully cut and assembled, all within family-owned factories passed down through generations in Italy. Visiting these places, I met the parents of the current owners, hearing their stories of working with some of the most renowned fashion houses and feeling their pride in a craft that is slowly disappearing, and their joy in seeing someone young wanting to carry it forward. Heritage for me isn’t just about aesthetics – it’s about people and respect for their artistry. Every garment is shaped by both my vision and their knowledge and experience, which I aim to preserve through Bianca.

You blend timeless techniques with a contemporary vision. What does “timeless” mean to you in a world that moves so fast?

To me, timeless means creating with intention: pieces that don’t chase trends but reflect my vision of beauty. In a world that moves so fast, true luxury is slowing down and honoring the process. Timelessness is a quiet confidence, designs that feel relevant today and will hold their beauty years from now, garments women can grow with, and one day pass on to their daughters, a reminder that beauty and craftmanship can transcend seasons and generations.

Freedom, empowerment, and femininity are central to your brand language. How do you translate those ideas into something tangible?

I translate these ideas through design, detail and symbolism. The silhouette of a piece, the way it moves with the body, the textures and finishes – all of it is intended to give women a sense of confidence and ease. Our signature keyhole hardware, inspired by Tanit, the goddess of sensuality and strength, embodies opportunity and self-belief. Every piece is a wearable celebration of femininity – designed to make the woman who wears it feel comfortable and confident.

At the core of Bianca lies Tanit, goddess of sensuality and strength. What first drew you to her mythology, and how does her symbol guide your creative decisions?

Tanit is the goddess of Ibiza, and her symbol is everywhere on the island, from street art to shops and restaurants – it was also my first tattoo. Ibiza is a special place for me: it’s where I first stepped out of my comfort zone, living alone for the summer, where I got my first job in a clothing shop, and where I met my partner. The island, and Tanit’s presence throughout it, shaped my sense of independence, confidence, and creativity, all of which I now channel into Bianca. Her symbol is woven into every design, not just as decoration, but as a reminder of the possibilities every woman carries. From the metal details to the cut and flow of the fabric, the collections are inspired by the combination of sensuality and strength that Tanit embodies.

Tanit’s key-lock symbol shapes the brand’s identity and stands for opportunity and confidence. What kinds of doors do you hope Bianca opens for the women who wear it?

I hope Bianca opens doors to confidence, self-expression, and a sense of freedom and ease in one’s own skin. Beyond the garments themselves, I hope they inspire moments of joy, as each piece is designed to accompany women through special moments and experiences.

Bianca’s tone feels both intimate and powerful, never decorative, always intentional. What emotions do you want your pieces to evoke when someone puts them on for the first time?

I hope women feel beautiful, ready to embrace whatever the day brings, while the symbolic hardware serves as a little good luck charm, a subtle reminder that they hold the key to their own journey.

Resortwear often speaks the language of escape. For you, is it more about escape or about returning to something essential within?

For me resortwear is about escape – about feeling your best in those moments you’ve waited and dreamed of all year long, whether it’s a holiday or a special occasion. Each piece is designed to accompany you in those experiences, and make you feel confident and beautiful.

The brand celebrates craftsmanship. What does the word “crafted” mean to you beyond the technical process?

Learning about production myself, I’ve seen firsthand how many hours go into each piece, how many hands touch it, and how much care is woven into every step of the process. Craftsmanship to me, is the knowledge passed down through generations of artisans and the intention that shapes each material into something meaningful. When something is truly crafted, it carries history, expertise, and emotion.

Italian design carries a strong emotional identity. Where do you see Bianca within that spectrum?

Growing up in Milan, I was always surrounded by the fashion industry: my mother worked in fashion all her life, my grandmother was a seamstress, and many of the parents of my friends held different roles across the industry. From a young age, I learned to appreciate the care, skill, and passion that goes into creating and selling garments. Bianca is still a very small reality, but I love being able to support family-owned factories across Italy and keeping the process personal, knowing everyone involved. I hope the brand continues to grow into a space where heritage and contemporary vision meet, creating pieces that carry meaning and craftsmanship.

If Bianca is a love letter, who is it written to?

Bianca is a love letter to my mother, my sister, my best friends, the women in my life who supported me in this journey, and finally to myself. I hope it can inspire other women to express themselves as I’ve learned to through the brand, a journey that required a lot of self-confidence, to bring something to reality. I know I’m not changing the world, but I believe there is beauty in the intention of wanting to make women feel beautiful and confident, and supporting my own country’s heritage.
