/èu-re-ka/ preserving an ideology of party, of community connection through music, which has been lost over time. Eureka has just released their debut album, a collection of 10 diverse techno tracks that explore various aspects of the genre. Despite being new to the Milan scene, Eureka has quickly made an impact, with early support from prominent DJs in the techno world.

Born in Milan in April of this year, Eureka is a rising star that has joined the firmament of the Milanese music scene. Despite being new to the game, their parties have already featured DJs of the caliber of Ketch, Burden, and Psyk.

Eureka proudly presents their first-ever album, a compelling collection of 10 meticulously crafted techno tracks. Each piece offers a distinct sonic experience, showcasing a wide spectrum of the genre’s essence. Early supported by Richie Hawtin, Takaaki Itoh, Answer Code Request, Ben Sims, Dax J, Eric Cloutier, UVB, Justine Perry, Vinicius Honorio, Kaiser, Truncate, Dextro, Phil Berg, Uväll, Lee Holman, Roberto, Tensal, Echoplex, Ketch, Arkan, Stephanie Sykes & many more.

The album opens with Agata, a hypnotic journey through atmospheric landscapes and aggressive synths that immediately set the tone. Following this powerful introduction, Biemsix takes the listener on an immersive exploration of his versatile style, blending subtlety with depth. Burden ramps up the energy with a track that’s a true dancefloor weapon, characterized by hypnotic bleeps that will keep the crowd moving. As the momentum builds, Ebass delivers a peak-time tool designed to captivate and energize any dancefloor. The journey continues with Eramo, who infuses the mix with lively percussion and minimalist synths/bleeps, creating a rhythmic experience that’s both dynamic and engaging. Maccari follows with his signature aggressive synths and Brazilian-style toms, maintaining the album’s high energy. MBM & Rhythms Assembler offer two masterful tools that cater to fans of the hypnotic side of techno, perfectly blending into the album’s evolving narrative. Slak then shifts the atmosphere with dub synths and 909 drums, setting the stage for the final track. Closing the album Transparent Shape delivers a deep and dark sonic journey reminiscent of Mike Parker’s iconic soundscapes, bringing the album to a powerful and thought-provoking conclusion.

This debut album is not just a collection of tracks; it’s a meticulously curated journey through the many facets of techno. Whether you’re a DJ looking for peak-time tools or a listener seeking deep, hypnotic soundscapes, Eureka’s first release promises to be an essential addition to your collection.
