Each year Homobloc creates a world that is both festival and family, a gathering of icons and collectives who embody the spectrum of queer culture. This winter the stages of Depot Mayfield will be led by UK pop royalty Sugababes, joined by a constellation of artists who have shaped dancefloors worldwide. Honey Dijon and The Blessed Madonna bring their unstoppable energy, while Patrick Mason continues to channel Berlin’s hybrid of techno and performance art. Beth Ditto steps behind the decks, Ana Matronic brings the fire of Scissor Sisters, and Slayyyter delivers her hyperpop charge. From Peaches b2b Erol Alkan to Hercules & Love Affair live, from Todd Edwards to Eliza Rose, Sally C, I.Jordan, and a host of Manchester’s finest, the night expands across genres, generations, and scenes.
Homobloc is never confined to a main stage. It spills into every corner of Depot Mayfield and beyond, with PXSSY PALACE marking their tenth anniversary in the Plant Room, Only Fire making his Manchester debut inside the Star & Garter, and Jasmine.4.T returning home after a landmark year. House of Spice and Club Zindagi transform the Archive into a vibrant space for South Asian, Middle Eastern, and North African queer voices, while Ghetto Fabulous, Butch Revival, T4T, and Red Rodeo Club bring their own visions of community and nightlife to the fold. Drag, ballroom, live performance, and underground collectives thread the night with spectacle, building a festival that overflows with energy and presence.
Since 2021 Homobloc has raised more than £137,000 for LGBTQ+ charities, building a legacy of both joy and solidarity.
