Finché nessuno muore / Lust for Paper

Vera Nevi in conversation with Giulia Piceni on her latest novel, domination and truth

Between the neon-lit Milan of the early 2000s and the unflinching intimacy of confession, Vera Nevi builds a literary world where domination becomes a metaphor for self-knowledge rather than control. Finché nessuno muore transforms the true story of a young girl becoming a dominatrix into an exploration of fragility, loneliness, and truth. In dialogue with the author herself, this interview uncovers the book’s rhythm, born from a mix of punk energy, fanzine aesthetics, and literary pulp, and explores the ways in which identity and vulnerability intertwine, both on the page and in life.
