Limen

Photographed by Stefano Giovanni Giuliano and
Olive Gilson.

A threshold, a boundary, an imperceptible line—limen is the point at which perception begins, where the unseen shifts into the tangible. A moment before recognition, the space where sensation stirs but has yet to form. Existing between definition and ambiguity, between silence and sound, between shadow and light.
