The Renaissance Porto Lapa’s design is distinguished by its Art Deco-inspired interiors and the use of a champagne color palette accented by petrol blue—a subtle nod to the Douro River that flows between Porto and Gaia. The interior details include traditional Portuguese tiles, a signature of Porto’s architectural heritage, along with notable art installations. The mosaic tile installation by Pedrita Studio, a painting by Isabel Mello, and an eye-catching piece with corrugated iron and neon lights by Berlin-based artist Clemens Behr lend an artistic depth that anchors the hotel in local and international creativity.

The hotel embodies an “Art House in The Park” ethos, using a sophisticated Art Deco theme paired with Porto-inspired colors like champagne and petrol blue, symbolizing the nearby Douro River.
