“Sexuality is, of course, political, but the key question is not simply to oppose the ideological regulation of sexuality; rather, it is to approach the very foundation of what is at stake” (Žižek, Slavoj). During the Paris photo week, With the support of Art Icon, a non-profit cultural organisation, the curators collected Pieces of some of the prominent names in the world of photograph such as Roger Ballen, Lars von Trier, Nadya Tolokonnikova / Pussy Riot, Santiago Sierra, Lydia Lunch, Tali Lennox. The result was a socially engaged exhibition, reflecting on the relationship between ideology, society, sexuality, and politics.
