Marco Rambaldi AW/23

The AW/23 collection by Marco Rambaldi is called “Supernova” and is inspired by the designer’s creative vision that «we are all fasting stars, hungry for understanding». Through his latest collection, the young talent celebrates the feminine aesthetic, romance, eternal self-love and inclusiveness. The ‘lovecore’ trend is here to stay! The Bolognese designer focuses on knitwear and outerwear; playful accessories are combined with colourful bags under the prism of warm colours. On the catwalk, the key textures and materials of the collections were chocolate brown up-cycled leather and white crochet. The bold jewels, accessories and garments such as chunky heart-shaped silver earrings, a micro bag with red Swarovski crystals, a floor-length crochet dress, a short cardigan with metallic details at the neckline and metallic star pendants elegantly make a revival of 2000—an edgy parade of love and diversity. In Rambaldi’s creative vision, the world of the Italian bourgeoisie of the seventies, collides in its repetitive daily expressive codes, with a radically young, emotional, transversal, new aesthetic. Self-acceptance is an essential chromosome of the brand’s DNA and is proved once again by the models casting as the co-protagonists of the show. Friends of the designer with unique identities and strong personal styles took place on the runway parade by giving life and positive energy and constructing a sense of community in the eyes of the viewer.
