Metamorphosis

Photographed by Agnese Cornelio

“There was a Naiad once, named Salmacis, who refused the virginal path of Artemis to become a unified creature with her beloved Hermaphroditus and the Gods fulfilled her request. She embraced fluidity and water, the most fluid element, embraced them and created a an equilibrium between genders, a poetry of androgyny and bodies.” A story photographed by Agnese Cornelio.
