It was dark, pitch black, when they first sensed something. The creature perceived shrill noises with their ears. Unfamiliar sounds; thunderous and disturbing. When light appeared, they became so loud that they forced the being to the surface. They startled and gasped for air they hadn‘t known existed. Water flowed out and their lungs filled deeply with air. A fashion story shot by Alina Cherubin.
