A.F. VANDEVORST ALWAYS TO HAVE FOREVER TO HOLD S/S19

Doubt thou the stars are fire, doubt that the sun doth move, doubt truth to be a liar, but never doubt I love. –  Shakespeare

A whimsical and deconstructed couture fairy tale to celebrate An Vandevorst and Filip Arickx’s 20 years of marriage and their spirit all compact of fire. Sacred tradition sharply renewed and reinterpreted in a contemporary key: pure poetry for modern romantic souls with a hint of witchcraft on their lips. An instant that makes you loose all senses and get deeper and deeper in all the increasing wonder of ivory and white couture, sheer lace veils mixed with leather masks (by the one and only Zana Bayne), vintage wedding embroidered dresses with sliced flowers and wedding ring prints, all along oversize hoodies, neoprene shorts, crisp tailored suits and jewelled tight-high boots.

A capsule collection accompanied by flowers of doom that bloom in prosperity, made of out of nothing but the finest part of love. To unpathed waters, undreamed shores for ever and a day, the couple’s unspoken love letter left us with amazement at such perfection.
