Art de Parfum is a family owned business. All the music for Art de Parfum’s campaign videos and marketing material is written by Ruta’s husband, musician Paul Humphreys, co-founder of pioneering British electronic pop band, OMD.”“Making scents could be easily compared to writing songs. Everybody is influenced by the same smells or sounds around us, but what requires a real master is to compose those notes in a beautiful accord. Simple, elegant but at the same time not too linear or predictable.” The founder, along with a dedicated team, emphasises the inseparable connection between planetary health and human well-being. Art de Parfum ensures all products are 100% cruelty-free, free from GMOs and endangered materials. Fragrances are void of nano-particles, and organic beetroot-derived alcohol is used. Environmentally-safe materials are employed in packaging, featuring 100% recyclable glass bottles and biodegradable cardboard for perfume boxes, all produced in the EU. “Perfumery is like any other modern “over produced” industry that is suffering from chasing profits, and it’s a shame that the niche category is turning into mass-market just because of its basic need to survive. Less consumption would really lead to more interesting and unique perfumery.” The line consists of 9 fragrances: Sabotage, Kimono Vert, Le Joker, Excentrique Moi, Gin & Tonic Cologne, Sea Foam, Sensual Oud, Signature Wild and a limited edition “Encore Une Fois”. The brand’s most recent launch is Sabotage, which made its debut last summer. A treat for gourmand enthusiasts, Sabotage is a nod to the 90s.
